Terms and Conditions
These terms are applicable to Merridas (“the Hotel”) guest(s) and apply to all reservations, bookings and agreements for accommodation and use of all facilities at the Hotel.
Guests are invited to read these provisions and note their responsibilities, arrangements for payments, cancellation, amendments, no show terms and limitations on the liability of the Hotel.

Rates
All room rates quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia and subject to 6% SST.
RM10 Tourist Tax will be collected upon check in on 1st September 2017 onwards from non Malaysian guest per room per night.
Room Type & Occupancy Categories

Standard King: 2 adults only
Stardard Queen: 2 adults and 1 child below 12 years
Deluxe King: 2 adults only
Deluxe Queen: 2 adults and 1 child below 12 years
Superior King: 2 adults only
Superior Queen: 2 adults and 1 child below 12 years

Check in and Check Out Time

Check In: 1400 hours
Check Out: 1200 hours

Kindly notify us for arrival after 1800hour, failing which, your booking is deemed cancelled. We shall reserve our absolute rights to resell the room(s) and our ‘no show’ terms will apply.

Manner of Payment
We accept payment in the form of Cash or credit cards such as VISA, MASTERCARD only.
We do not accept personal or corporate cheques.
A reservation cannot be completed until the guest clicks on the “PAY NOW” button and guest are bound by the terms and conditions.

Extension of Stay
In the event of guest(s) wishing to extend their stay, the hotel may allow such extension subject to guest(s) paying in advance for the extended stay and subject to availability of room(s)

Amendment Policy
Guest must notify the hotel in the event of amendment at least 48 hours before the check in date otherwise the hotel will proceed to charge:-

Normal Season: One (1) night’s room rental to the number of room(s) reserved to the guest’s credit card as penalty.
Peak Season: The entire night(s) stay to the total number of rooms reserved to the guest’s credit card as penalty.

Amendment during stay (shorten stay/early check out)
In the event of early check out or shortened stay, the hotel will proceed to levy a charge of one (1) night’s room rate to the number of rooms reserved to the guest’s credit card as penalty.

Cancellation Policy
Guest(s) must notify the hotel in the event of cancellation as least 48 hours before the check in date otherwise the hotel will proceed to charge:

Normal Season: One (1) night’s room rental to the number of rooms booked to the guest’s credit card as penalty.
Peak Season: The entire night(s) stay to the total number of rooms reserved to the guest’s credit card as penalty.

No Show Charges
In the event of ‘No Show’, the hotel will proceed to charge 50% of the total number of room nights reserved to the guest’s credit card as penalty.

Personal Details Security
We highly value your trust in choosing our hotel online reservation system. Therefore, we will duly and diligently safeguard and protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal details (including your credit card details).

Age and Responsibility
You warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity to use the Site and to create a legally binding contract.
You warrant that all personal information submitted during accommodation booking is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.

Guests Responsibilities
The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guest(s) or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Hotel. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time.
Merrida Hotel shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise of such events.

These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in Malaysia.
